Flamenco Spark and Fire Exhibition

March 22 – June  2018

I am delighted to announce that I will be exhibiting my flamenco paintings at the Museo del Baile Flamenco in Seville!

The collection of thirty five watercolour paintings  will be featured during  March 22 to April 22 2018.  Because of the Museum’s cultural significance it is a great privilege to be offered an exhibition there.  Since the museum has an international reputation as a centre promoting genuine Flamenco, I am honoured that they want to exhibit my paintings.

In  my pursuit of capturing the spark and fire of flamenco  I spent time in Seville and Cuba, drawing and studying flamenco dancers in workshops and performances as well as personal sessions with individual professional dancers.

It is a profound and moving experience to witness the sheer intensity and power in Flamenco. The amount of emotion and passion is something I cant forget. My sincere desire is that this Flamenco Spark and Fire exhibition  can emotionally engage and inspire you to connect with this incredible Andalusian art form – Flamenco.

The Flamenco Dance Museum in Seville is the principal reference of the Andalusian cultural heritage promoting its understanding and union between culture and flamenco art. It is considered therefore the temple of the Andalusian flamenco culture.  www.museoflamenco.com
