Life Drawing Class
4 September – 20 November 2018
Tuesday 7 – 9 pm weekly
At Arts Centre, the Oak room.
2c St Peters St, Tiverton, Devon. UK. EX16 6NU
Cost £85 for (6 weeks)
Join me for a fresh look at Life Drawing in an exciting class designed to build confidence and ability. To maintain a one to one atmosphere, there are only 10 places on this class. It is a strictly first come first served basis.
This life drawing class uses the human figure as a visual prompt through which participants can unlock their own creativity and learn to think like an artist. Over the course of the weeks we will focus on technique and materials in a practical, hands-on class combining traditional Life Drawing practices with experimental drawing ideas and mediums.
The class will be group tuition as well as one to one guidance. Participants will be introduced to the basics of fundamental figure drawing, building skill, knowledge and confidence. You will be encouraged to engage with new concepts and practices and to try differing materials. You will be encouraged to work with the skills that you already possess.
This course is suitable for all levels of ability for beginners and for those with more experience.
Drawing boards, clips and easels will be provided. Students are expected to bring their own materials. Drinks are provided.
Please note: This course is for students aged 18 and older.
The cost is £85 for a six week block. Due to the financial commitment of model and room hire, I ask for 6 week block payments only. This is payable in advance and is non refundable. Please make sure you can attend the scheduled weeks as there is no refund for missing weeks.
Payment can be made by cheque of BACS. Please contact me for further details by email or telephone 01884 821500.
